Experience the excitement of our Kotlićijada (Balkan Cook-Off) as talented cooks prepare their own delicious versions of this beloved traditional dish. Come cheer on the teams, enjoy the festive atmosphere, and celebrate Serbian heritage with us!

• 🍲 Kotlić Cook-Off
• ⛪ Church Tours at 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM
• 💃 Serbian Folklore Performance at 6:00 PM

Bring your family, invite your friends, and spend the afternoon enjoying delicious food, Serbian traditions, music, and warm hospitality. Whether you're part of our community or visiting for the first time, everyone is welcome!

We are looking for 15–20 participants to compete in our Kotlićijada Balkan Cook-Off!

Participants will prepare their own specialty dish on-site under our event tents and should bring all of their own ingredients, cooking equipment, and supplies.

To register, please contact Father Mirko at (312) 468-8620.

Participants will be assigned a serving time so that a variety of freshly prepared dishes will be available for guests throughout the afternoon and evening.

One of the highlights of the event is that spectators will have the unique opportunity to stroll throughout the church grounds, watch each team prepare their specialty, meet the cooks, and experience the sights, aromas, and traditions of authentic Balkan outdoor cooking!

• 🍲 Такмичење у кувању котлића
• ⛪ Обилазак цркве у 15.00 и 17.00 часова
• 💃 Наступ српског фолклора у 18.00 часова

Позовите породицу и пријатеље и проведите дан уз добру храну, дружење и богату српску традицију. Без обзира да ли сте први пут са нама или сте део наше заједнице, сви су добродошли!

Тражимо 15–20 такмичара који желе да учествују на нашој Котлићијади – Такмичењу у кувању котлића!

Такмичари ће припремати своје специјалитете на лицу места, под нашим шаторима, и потребно је да понесу све своје намирнице, опрему за кување и остали неопходан прибор.

Сваки такмичар ће добити време када његово јело треба да буде завршено, како би посетиоци током целог поподнева и вечери могли да уживају у различитим свеже припремљеним специјалитетима.

Посебна чар ове манифестације је што ће посетиоци моћи да прошетају црквеним имањем, посматрају припрему јела, разговарају са такмичарима и уживају у мирисима, атмосфери и традицији аутентичног балканског кувања на отвореном!
