- **Event Description**: News of the summer! Alexandra Krim is BACK for a 2-hour Cacao + Kundalini workshop on Sunday, June 22nd from 1:30-3:30PM! 
 
In this practice, we will connect with the sacred fruit of cacao, attune to our breath, share space with one another, and open to the Divine.
 
While cacao does not have psychoactive or entheogenic (psychedelic) properties, it is still revered as a plant medicine for its subtle yet profound effects on the heart- both physically and spiritually. Humans have used cacao ceremonially for centuries, and during our gathering, we will explore its ancient origins and sacred purposes.
 
The cacao we'll be drinking was grown and crafted in the mountains of Puerto Rico. Alexandra lovingly prepares it with intention, using herbs from the island and local honey to sweeten.
 
As we sip, Alexandra will guide you through a heart-centered meditation, gradually leading into a kundalini yoga practice designed to open, clear, expand, and protect the heart- on both physical and energetic levels. 
 
Kunalini yoga incorporates the ancient technologies of pranayama (breathwork), bandhas (muscular locks), drishtis (focuses gazes), mudras (hand postures), and mantras (sound) to create specific effects on the body, mind, and consciousness.
 
We'll close with an extended savasana, offering optional hands-on Reiki and space to journal and integrate your experience.
 
Please bring a yoga mat, a mug, a journal, and a pen. All other props will be provided.
