What the Funk?! plays half funky jazz -- mostly from the vintage 60s/70s era -- and half funky vocal rock songs.
The vibe can range from laid-back chill background music, to lively danceable party music. (We know El Barco crowd likes to dance, so we'll keep it bumpin'!)
Members have all played there with other bands:
Jeffree White (Old Souls, Black Sapphire) on keyboards & vocals;
Jan Reimers (Blackwater Blues Band, Bluegrass & Beyond) on electric bass;
Ricardo Barragan guests on drums;
Wayne Watson (Rooftop Romeos, Big Bang Band) on trumpet;
Todd Jones (Rooftop Romeos, Charlie Cook Band) on sax.
David Garfinkel is our guest guitarist.
