Outdoors on the street between Block North and The Locker Room in downtown Aitkin, MN. The Glacial Lakes Brewers will be firing up the fire pits and poking some beer. 

If you like roasting marshmallows, you'll love our Fish House Parade Beer Poke! A centuries old German tradition, known as "Bierstacheln", where iron pokers heated in a fire are plunged into beer steins filled with beer on winter days, adding a rich caramel flavor. It works by flash heating the sugars found in craft beers and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. 

We will be heating up a stainless steel rod in an our outdoor fire pit until it is glowing red. Once glowing, it is plunged into your drink. There will be a charge for the beer of your choice served in a large beer stein.

Families are all welcome. We’ll also be roasting marshmallows for S'mores! Snow, Rain or shine, the fun is outside, so dress warm!
