(But we have a few new ones in our back pocket for next year ?) Instead, we’ll be hosting our FREE Give One, Take One clothing swap, along side a 'THRIFTMAS' Mingle for all our previous sellers & shoppers (and anyone new that wants to see what all the fuss is about) at Whisper Gin Bar located in Mirage Whitsundays. Our Give One, Take One initiative launched at the start of this year, and helps to promote circular fashion, reduce waste, and strengthen community relationships. Simply bring up to 5 items of quality clothing along, and for every item you bring, you can swap it for something new! Or simply donate items to the table and enjoy an afternoon connecting with like minded individuals, with a drink in hand! We’ll be located upstairs in the Gin Bar, inside & air conditioned! It’s FREE entry! There is plenty of undercover parking at Mirage, or park down by VMR on Altmann Ave and stroll up to see us! *The venue is also wheelchair accessible We’ll be starting the day off with 30+ preloved items in various sizes, but it’s a good idea to make a day of it and hang around, as there will be HEAPS of items added throughout the afternoon as people arrive. It’s a great opportunity to pull out those unloved cocktail dresses & occasion wear sitting at the back of your wardrobe. Maybe you will find yourself the perfect Christmas Party or Christmas Day outfit!? All leftover clothing will be donated to The Whitsunday Neighbourhood Centre. There will be food, coffee & drinks available to purchase from Whisper Restaurant & the Pool Bar downstairs. So stay and catch up with your favourite C/Kaitlin’s for lunch and a bevvy!
