# Event Details - **Event Name**: Resin Art: Christmas Angel Workshop - **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 22 Nov, 2025 at 11:00 am – Sat, 22 Nov, 2025 at 03:00 pm - **Event Description**: For those who love ANGELS and CHRISTMAS then this workshop is for YOU!About this EventNEW FOR CHRISTMAS 2025!Each participant is given a blank slate on which to create a beautiful angel in resin. She is cut out of 1/4" baltic birch and is 18" tall by 16" wide. What to Expect During the Class:You will be given ample time and product to practice with prior to doing your resin on your angel so that alleviates the pressure of not being sure how things will go. This way you can test your colour choices as well as have the opportunity to see how resin flows and blends etc.Your Creative Coach BerylAnne will provide you with demonstrations and direction on how to prep, mix resin (various pastes, glitters, diamond dust, interference powders, mica powders, etc); move resin and how to control it to give you a desired result. Create cells, lacing and stunning colour variations with all the variety of supplies on hand.You will practice on a canvas panel beforehand and then when you feel comfortable, you will resin your beautiful angel and if you want to, decorate it with reflective glass, german glass, buttons, lace, jewels, small swarovski flatback crystals, glitter, diamond dust, aurora flakes, whatever you can find!!Resin requires a minimum of 12 hours to cure so you won't be able to take your project home with you the same day. Part of this is a teaching workshop where previous experience is not required but helpful and there is an age requirement of 18+. Dress accordingly as resin is impossible to remove once on your clothes (aprons and gloves are provided).Refreshments such as pop, water, coffee & tea and pre-packaged snacks like chocolate bars and chips are available but feel free to bring your own if you want.The Studio is in the loower level so you will be required to go up and down one flight of stairs independently (sturdy banister).PLEASE NOTE: If you are unable to purchase your registration here through EB, please contact BerylAnne, memoriesaremade@gmail.com directly.
