- **Event Description**: A very special evening of music from some of Scotland's finest artists, to raise funds for the East Kilbride Dementia Carers in memory of Brian Doig.

Brian Doig was a champion of music and musicians. He was a well known, and well-loved, member of the close-knit Scottish music community, admired by musicians and fellow music fans alike. For 30 years Brian led the East Kilbride dementia charity, EK Dementia Carers, for over 30 years, until he sadly lost a long battle with cancer.

The ripples of his passing were felt strongly in our music community. This evening is intended to be a way of celebrating the music he loved, supporting the charity he devoted his life to, and to celebrate the life of an wonderful, happy and caring human being.

The evening will feature performances by Blue Rose Code, Jill Jackson, Carol Laula, JJ Gilmour, Brownbear, King Of Birds, Sulidae, The Homebirds and special guests.

We would like to acknowledge the help of the acts and the independent music promoters across Scotland in making this gig happen. Thank you to The Fallen Angels Club, Mildred Dairy, Brookfield Knights, Sounds In The Suburbs, Hypercoaster Music, Freckfest and others.
