Aiken County residents are encouraged to ring those old documents (no binders, please). Let’s shred, recycle, and do good for our community!

WHAT TO DO:
Use boxes or bags: Place your documents in boxes or bags for easier handling.
Ensure paper is clean and free from debris.
REMOVE binders: Take all paper out of three-ring binders, butterfly binders, and plastic ring binders.
REMOVE large clips: Take out bulky metal items like large claw clips.
REMOVE paper clips.
Bring to the event: Deliver your documents to the designated drop-off location for the event.
WHAT NOT TO DO:
DON'T bring bulky binders: Remove all three-ring binders and other plastic binders before you arrive.
DON'T bring large metal clips: Remove large claw clips and other bulky metal items.
DON'T mix with other items: Keep your documents separate from items that cannot be shredded, such as CDs or DVDs.
