Managed by the Sarabhai Foundation, the Calico Museum of Textiles was founded in 1949 by Gautam and Gira Sarabhai, two enterprising brothers. The museum was shifted to Shahibaug, which is its current location, in 1983 from Calico Mill.03s. The museum exhibits fabrics of various kinds and times, allowing you to witness the craftsmanship and cultural significance of Indian textiles firsthand!
