We are happy to inform you that, we are organizing a one-day workshop on “Open Data and Open Knowledge” in association with World Bank Group, New Delhi.

·         Conversion of data to various formats including maps and charts

·         Open data analytical tools

·         Open Finances Data

·         Walkthrough of Data Contribution in World Bank Platform

·         Web-based resources and Citizen Engagement  

·         Hands-on-Training (World Bank Data & NIC Data)

·         Use of Mobile app for Finances, Mapping for Results, Spatial Agent

·         Be able to access 9000+ economic indicators for 220+ countries from 1960 onwards 

·         Be able to use data in visualization form in a research report  

·         An orientation on subscribed datasets of Vikram Sarabhai Library

·         Researcher, faculty and students from Business Management, Social Science, etc. 

·         Library Professionals

 

Requirements

 

·         To fully benefit from the practical demo of open data bring your own laptop.
 

Registration is free and will be accepted first come first serve basis based on appropriateness of candidature as mentioned in the target audience as above.
