MEANWHILE ELSEWHERE NATIONAL TOUR- AHMEDABAD

Meanwhile Elsewhere is an Indo-Italian theatrical collaboration that transforms Italo Calvino’s Invisible Cities into living architecture onstage. Co-directed by Mallika Sarabhai and Yadavan Chandran, the production merges movement, light, and multilingual performance into what HunarManch calls “a theatrical spectacle that redefines storytelling.” The Hindu praised its “light, shadow, and smoke become poetry,” while audiences and critics alike have hailed it as “a mesmerizing exploration of the intangible essence of cities.” The piece continues to tour internationally, carrying Calvino’s imagined worlds into new cultural and emotional geographies.
