1.Hara Pitara
That Ahmedabad doesn’t have a green market with eco-friendly products across categories will no longer be a complaint as Hara Pitara comes calling at India Environment Festival’18. It brings to Amdavadis an opportunity to choose from a series of sustainable and eco-friendly products and services and help them adopt greener and healthier lifestyle.

2.Know Your Water Sessions
Let’s get together and find solutions to curb the wastage of water which is often a result of our callousness. The water experts at India Environment Festival’18 would enlighten us on various issues pertaining to our daily water consumption and how small changes in routine practice can make a huge difference.
The major topics that will be covered at the session are: Know Your Water I Water and Agriculture I Water and Hospitality Industry I Water and Wild Life.
The eminent speakers at the sessions would deliberate on : Bottled Water Syndrome | To R.O. or Not | |Eco- Hospitality and other issues.

Green Screen
India Environment Festival’18 will screen a series of environment films on the theme of ‘I am Water’. The films, received from CMS Vatavaran, will raise the issues of inter-connectedness of climate change and water and struggle for water in a world facing global warming, climate variability, food and health insecurity, biodiversity loss, and environmental damage.

3.Eco-entrepreneurs Summit
The future will be greener if you can foresee ‘Future is Green’
Yes, we are speaking in no ambiguous terms that the eco-entrepreneurs have a bright future. With demand for eco-products and services on the rise, the sector has been witnessing a significant surge for quite some time.
The Eco-entrepreneurs’ Summit at India Environment Festival’18 is not-to-be-missed opportunity for budding eco-entrepreneurs. The summit will act like a business clinic where issues bothering the eco-businessmen in the making would be diagnosed and treated with solutions through capacity building, counselling and tips on better marketing and branding for a wider mass reach. They would also get to learn about tapping the rising demands of eco-products and services.
The participants can check the potential of their E-business idea by taking up the ‘Eco-10k Challenge’. The best biz idea will win Rs 10K.

4.Dog Adoption Show
A dog is man’s best friend. If you were looking for a best friend to take it home, your search is set to end at Dog Adoption Show at India Environment Festival’18. Drop in to welcome a new member in your family. We have for you some adorable dogs who can't wait to become BFF for life. Come and meet them
The dog show in our inaugural event in year 2017 has created so many beautiful memories and relationship. The adopted dogs and their parents will share how their life transformed after the adoption of the four-legged gentle souls.

5.Paint Me Blue Art
Everyone needs a little motivation to bring to fore the Picasso or M F Hussein locked inside, irrespective of the age. We want to encourage the same and therefore we have designed a platform – Paint Me Blue – for you to come forward and let your creativity spread on canvas. Come, celebrate ART and ENVIRONMENT collectively at India Environment Festival’18.

Time – 10 AM to 12 Noon

Note – Only drawing papers will be provided. The participants should bring their own pencils/colours/or any other relevant materials.

6.Sonam Wangchuk Talk
Meet the education reformist, inventor and the WATER HERO from the cold deserts of Ladakh – Sonam Wangchuk – at India Environment Festival’18. His story inspired Aamir Khan’s character – Phunsukh Wangdu – in 3 idiots. Come and see him talk about his amazing journey of water conservation through different inventions.

While Premium pass would get you a seat close to the stage, the fund-raising dinner pass would provide you a chance to speak to Sonam Wangchuk over dinner. The fund-raising dinner would also yield you an opportunity to contribute towards the establishment of ‘The Himalayan Institute of Alternatives’, an alternative university in Ladakh, promoted by Wangchuk.

7.Dastangoi, with dash of Eco-tainment
If WhatsApp jokes had bored you enough, here is your chance to get caught in the ‘laughter riot’ at India Environment Festival’18 where you must not miss the Stand-up comedy. Book yourself a seat first, you can thank us later
The evening would get even more exciting when the tales from the hinterlands would be presented in the one of the oldest story-telling formats - Dastangoi. Slip into the era goneby with ‘Dastangoi’ that would bring to life the unheard stories of nomadic communities (khanabadosh) from across the country at India Environment Festival’18.
Writer, researcher and eminent storyteller, Ankit Chadha specializes in weaving new narratives for Dastangoi - the art of storytelling. Like the herder following the herd, Ankit has followed the herders in Gujarat, Uttarakhand and Rajasthan to bring us their tales.
