Food Farmacy is the brainchild of Arina Suchde and Megha Gambhir. They set out on a journey to look for CLEAN food that is not only healthy but also fun and delicious. They wanted to break the myth that healthy food is boring or that it is "diet" food. They source food products across various categories like cheese, honey, tea, coffee, snacks, pastas, dips, sauces etc. that are made by small producers in different parts of India and are completely free from chemicals, artificial preservatives, and synthetic food colours.
Chef Arina Suchde is a hotel management graduate from IHM, Ahmedabad, she holds a chef training diploma from the Natural Gourmet institute in New York City. She specializes in health supportive culinary arts, she does recipe development for restaurants, cafes, and food brands and also helps design menus and train staff. She has been conducting cooking workshops and demos for kids, private groups and corporates like Sanjeev Kapoor Restaurants, Hindustan Unilever, HSBC, Microsoft, Max Bupa Health Insurance to name a few since the past 7 years.
In this waste positive talk and cooking demonstration, they will discuss which daily ingredients can be used completely without having to throw away parts of it and also learn a few recipes using such ingredients. They will give some cooking tips, ideas, gardening tips and exchange ideas or habits we adopt to help our environment and try to avoid as much waste as possible on a daily basis.
