On August 30, 1965, Bob Dylan released Highway 61 Revisited, a bold, electric, culture-shaking statement that split the history of modern music into a clear before and after.  At the heart of this landmark album lies what many critics, musicians, and fans regard as the greatest rock song ever written: “Like a Rolling Stone.”..️ 

Bob Dylan — the folk singer behind songs such as “Like a Rolling Stone,” “Blowin' in the Wind,” “The Times They Are A-Changin’,” and “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door” — is bringing his “Rough and Rowdy Ways” tour back to Iowa.... 

Dylan will play Hancher Auditorium in Iowa City on Wednesday, March 25, 2026.... Tickets for the show go on sale Friday, Dec.  12, at 10 a.m.  Tickets will be available

Ticket prices are $45 for students and $85 to $139.50 for general admission.  Hancher Auditorium notes that this will be a phone-free experience.

Dylan's “Rough and Rowdy Ways” tour skips metropolitan markets in favor of smaller towns.  The 27-city tour kicks off at the Orpheum Theater in Omaha, Nebraska, on March 21 and concludes on May 1 at the Abilene Auditorium in Abilene, Texas.

While on tour in Europe in 2024, Dylan performed deep cuts from his more than 60-year catalog.  While nothing is certain with Dylan, fans can expect to hear a vast majority of songs from his 2020 release “Rough and Rowdy Ways,” along with the occasional old favorites like “I’ll Be Your Baby Tonight,” “Desolation Row,” and “It Ain’t Me, Babe.
