Cable Confidence: Knit the Alokananda Beret 🌿
Wednesdays | 2–4pm
March 18 – April 1
Cables look impressive — but they’re far more approachable than they seem.
In this three-session workshop, you’ll knit the elegant Alokananda Beret, a beautifully textured cable hat with graceful springtime drape. This project is perfect for advanced beginners and intermediate knitters ready to grow their skills.
Class meets Wednesdays March 18-April 1; 2-4pm.
Students should arrive at the first class with the brim completed.
In this series, you’ll learn:
• How to confidently work cable stitches
• How to read both written and charted instructions
• Crown shaping techniques
• Clean finishing for a polished look
This project requires:
• 1 skein worsted weight yarn (solid or tonal recommended for cable definition) purchased at Tink & The Frog.
• US 7 & US 8 needles (16" circular + DPNs)
• Cable needle (optional)
Students receive 10% off class materials!
Cables open the door to an entirely new level of knitting — and once you’ve mastered them, they’re no longer intimidating.
✨ Space is limited. If you’ve been wanting to try cables, this is your moment.
🧶 Heads up! We need everyone to register at least 24 hours in advance so we can prep materials and plan ahead—no walk-ins, please! Thanks for helping us keep class cozy and stress-free. 💚
