Did you know that we have Hadrosaurs in our backyards? Well...we would if we lived in Duluth during the Triassic period. From the ancient sea that covered much of North America to the giant animals that roamed the earth, there is so much to explore in the land that became Minnesota.
During Adventure Club: Jurassic Park Edition, Adventurers will become paleontologists - learning what they look for in those dirt piles, what tools they use to dig, and even why the study of dinosaurs is important. Adventurers will learn about the many giant (and tiny) prehistoric creatures that lived in the region. They will learn how scientists and artists work with fossils to determine what prehistoric animals actually looked like. Our Environmental Education Instructors are full of dinosaur trivia (did you know dinosaurs are related to birds?!), making this one of our most popular weeks. Don’t miss it!
