THE CHARCOAL MAKERS OF IKARIA ISLAND
Directed by Manos Arvanitakis. The film explores the history of the charcoal makers from Ikaria who travelled throughout Greece and Asia Minor. It features testimonies from elderly burners regarding their hardships, memories of relocation from descendants and historical context regarding how charcoal fueled Greek industry.
