The TIU presents - UniSA Teaching and Learning Symposium 2018
The 2018 UniSA Teaching and Learning Symposium invites educators from across the university to come together for a one-day conversation about teaching and learning. The aim of the symposium is to provide an opportunity for educators to present on their own practices and make visible all the great work they are doing – from small scale to large.
The event will be organised around the following themes.
Programs and People
Research-informed teaching (incl. data, analytics, scholarship)
Teaching and learning conferences provide educators with opportunities to talk about teaching and learning with people at other universities. The 2018 T&L symposium is about educators at UniSA talking to each other: about challenges, successes, interventions tried and failed, and learnings gained from inquiries made into theory and practice.
The day will open with a panel discussion of Deans Teaching and Learning, focused on the theme of ‘Programs and People’. We will then break into strands, each focused on a series of presentations from UniSA educators that have a common theme. We hope to encourage plenty of sharing and discussion. The day will close by bringing everyone together again for a celebration and some secret prize draws.
This event is free for all UniSA staff - if you would like to submit an abstract to present on your work please follow this link [SUBMIT ABSTRACT]
