Surfing With The Alien @ The Gov (SA)

Adelaide-based guitarist Cam Blokland (The Superjesus / The Publishers) presents “Surfing With The Alien” — a live tribute to guitar legend Joe Satriani.

Blokland and his band perform Satriani’s landmark album from start to finish, including iconic tracks such as “Surfing With The Alien,” “Satch Boogie,” and “Always With Me, Always With You,”
before rounding out the night with a selection of additional Satch favourites.

Widely regarded as one of the defining instrumental rock releases of its era, Surfing With The Alien remains a long-standing favourite among music fans.

The show will also feature a fantastic guitar-orientated support act (soon to be announced).

For fans of big guitar moments, April 23 at The Gov promises a night centred on one of the genre’s most celebrated records.
