Spring Cleansing workshop
The spring cleansing workshop is to let go of the past and be fully present in awakening and purifying the mind body and soul to enhance one’s full potential of self-realisation. Incorporating ancient yoga practices which Niki Koutroulis has been researching, teaching and practising for over 18 years.
The workshop will also feature live musical performances by Patrick Sorrentino. The music for this workshop is more than just background ornamental music. Through the integration of modern electronic sounds, cultural influences, organic percussion and guitar, Patrick has woven a tapestry of hypnotic transcendental music.
The musical compositions have been specifically produced for the workshop using a technique called Binaural Beats stimulation, which directs specific frequencies that are sympathetic to Alpha, Beta and Theta brainwaves. This has led to musical soundscapes that are synchronous to the frequencies found in nature, a theory that goes back to the time of Pythagoras.
The workshop will include:
Cleansing yogic practices such as Shatkarmas, systematic practices of ancient yogic techniques.
Chakra flow yoga encourages focus and concentration on the chakras while practising yoga asanas (postures, mantra, yantra and colours) to enhance the flow of energy through the chakras and helps activate, specific areas of the brain.
Mindful walking meditation is deliberately paying full attention to what is happening around you and within your body, breath, and mind.
Organic wholesome vegetarian food to nourish the body and integrating mindful silent eating.
Deep chakra Yoga Nidra relaxation with the focus on the chakras to restore revitalise, reintegrate and harmonise the entire system. The use of Binaural Beats through musical tones is used to stimulate Alpha and Betta brainwaves (Deep Meditation).
Yoga chant dance is fun energising free flowing high energy, deep stillness and setting your soul free with a live performance of transcendental world music.
Meditation to integrate and reflect on the day, assisting awareness of the self, being present in the moment to induce peace, calm and deeper connection to your mind, body and soul.
What to bring; Wear loose comfortable clothes, bring along a water bottle and an empty stomach.
