Forget the networking clichés. Pub Truths is a 6-weekly Wednesday night meet-up for SA business owners who are ready to cut the crap and talk about what’s actually going on — in business, in life, and in the trenches.

It’s a room full of people who get it. Who’ve ridden the highs, hit the lows, and know that behind every “crushing it” post is a whole lot more going on.

There’s no speaker. No pitch. No pressure. Just a chance to share a drink, a story, and a few “you too?” moments with other humans who happen to run businesses.

When you book your ticket, you’ll be able to suggest a theme or question for the night. The only rule? Keep it real.

Simone Douglas is a business owner, strategist, and straight-talking human who’s spent the last 20 years building businesses, solving problems, and saying the things most people only think.

She’s the CEO of Social Media AOK, co-owner of multiple hospitality venues, Founder of the Business Owners Collective, and author of Seriously Social and The Confident Networker.

She's also the host of the #SeriouslySocial podcast and has delivered over 150 workshops and keynotes across Australia.

Simone doesn’t do small talk for the sake of it. She curates these sessions to be honest, energising, and refreshingly real , because the best ideas (and the biggest relief) often start with “You won’t believe what happened this week…”
