Join us on Friday 14 August 2026, at the beautiful Royal Adelaide Golf Club for this year’s Paws for Celebration dinner.
Organised by Charlotte Germaine, a dedicated client and community fundraiser, together with a passionate team of volunteers, this event promises to be a memorable night.
Tickets are $65 per person (plus booking fees), with tables available for groups of up to ten, and include a delicious two-course meal featuring a choice of main and dessert.
Drinks can be purchased from the bar at your own cost. Please note that the Royal Adelaide Golf Club is a cashless venue.
Paws for Celebration isn’t just about raising funds, it’s about shining a light on the incredible work See Differently with the Royal Society for the Blind does through its Guide & Assistance Dog Programs, and the real impact these dogs have on people’s lives across South Australia.
This year, we’re also excited to highlight the amazing OPK9 dogs, who provide invaluable support to veterans living with PTSD.
Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy raffles, silent and live auctions, the wine and gin mystery wall, and a photo booth to capture the fun. Raffle, Auctions and Wine and Gin Wall purchases can be either cash or card.
Working dogs and pups-in-training will also be attending, offering a heartwarming reminder of why these programs matter so much. (We kindly ask that guests refrain from patting the dogs while they are in jackets or harnesses.)
A special Q&A session will give guests the chance to hear directly from those involved in the Guide & Assistance Dog Programs and learn more about the life-changing difference these dogs make.
On a personal note, Charlotte will be shaving her hair during the evening to donate it to a cancer charity, helping create wigs for people who have lost their hair due to illness. It’s a simple but meaningful reminder of how easily things many of us take for granted, like our hair or our sight, can change.
We would love for you to join us for a warm, fun, and impactful night, one that raises both funds and awareness for these incredible, life-changing programs.
