Adelaide Jazz Club is proud to present:
MARMALADE CIRCUS
27 & 28 March 2026
Mark Simeon Ferguson has been making music that goes its own way since the 1990s — and Marmalade Circus have the devoted following to prove it.
Quirky jazz, feisty world grooves, a smattering of cabaret — and underneath it all, the compositional muscle of one of Australia's most distinctive musician-composers. Ferguson's writing has been performed by the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, the Australian String Quartet, and the JazzSA Superbands. Marmalade Circus have played Sydney Festival's Jazz in the Domain to 80,000 people and were the smash hit of Adelaide's Queen Street Jazz Festival in 2024. They have a fanbase that borders on the devoted.
This March, the full Marmalade experience will be served up for Adelaide Jazz Club at Waves. The lineup: Warren Heading (trumpet), Tom Pulford (reeds), Jasmine Hall (trombone), Shireen Khemlani (bass), John McDermott on drums, and Ferguson on piano.
