💛 Interested In Joining Bailey’s Run 2025?
(AKA The RAO Christmas Time Trial!)
Hey team,
We’d love to see if any of our Achilles Adelaide guides and athletes are keen to take part in a really special community event — Bailey’s Run 2025 at the Athletics SA Stadium on Tuesday 23 December.
This event is hosted by RAO — the running club many of us belong to (that’s Justine, Karen, Rosey, Sharaze, Jacinta, Tiani, Jane and Sonia), and RAO welcomes absolutely everyone to join in for this morning of connection, movement and community spirit.
💛 Who We’re Remembering
Bailey Minchington was a much-loved RAO runner who is sadly no longer with us. His dad, along with Izzy and Riley, put incredible love and effort into keeping Bailey’s spirit alive by supporting runners through the Bailey Minchington Running Scholarships. Being part of this event is a beautiful way to honour Bailey, support mental wellbeing, and celebrate the kindness and community he inspired.
🏃 The Event
Choose a 3km or 5km run and enjoy the energy of running on the track surrounded by friendly faces. Whether you’re chasing a PB, helping a mate get one, or just soaking up the festive vibes, it’s a gorgeous way to start the day.
🟡 For Guides
Any guide is welcome to participate — come along, lace up, and enjoy the morning.
🟠 For Athletes
You’re warmly invited too.

We’ll do everything we can to make sure everyone who wants to take part can do so safely and confidently.

• 6:30am first race start
• Distances: 3km or 5km
• Donations welcome before or on the day for the Bailey Minchington Running Scholarships
