Backyard Everest 2026

It's nuts. Some say impossible. Definitely sadistic. And yet, here we are.

A WORLD FIRST hybrid backyard ultra format, whilst attempting to summit Everest (8848m) within 24 hours. And not to forget 6 other mountains along the way, with 3 other disciplines of 3 hour, 6 hour and 12 hour attempts on this 5.3k circuit.

Do a lap every hour, on the hour. 369m of vert per lap. Collect your summit medallions of the 7 mountains as you go, with summits achieved after 3 laps (Table Mountain), 6 laps (Mt Kosciouzsko), 10 laps (Mt Rinjani), 12 laps (Mt Whitney), 16 laps (Mount Kilimanjaro), 21 laps (Changste) and finishing with Mt Everest on 24 laps.
