Dear fellow followers, members, future members, and everyone who would like to join our community,

As we approach the end of the current financial year, membership for the Czechoslovak Club is coming to an end for this year.

We would like to warmly invite all of you to renew or purchase your membership for the new 2026–2027 financial year.

To celebrate this occasion, we are organising a special Sunday lunch and community gathering.

All members who become part of our community will receive a complimentary traditional lunch, including soup, the main meal of Vepřo Knedlo Zelo (roast pork with dumplings and cabbage), and dessert.

During the event, you will also have the opportunity to learn how traditional dumplings are made and discover ways to support and preserve our community and culture for future generations.

Although the Czechoslovak Club was established in 1949, we feel there has been a loss of connection with the second and third generations of Australians with Czech and Slovak heritage. This event is for everyone who feels connected in their heart to Europe, to their ancestry, traditions, and culture, and who may wish to reconnect with their roots and community.

We would love to invite you to join us on 14 June for lunch in my great-grandmother’s kitchen, where we will come together as new members for the upcoming financial year.

We would truly love to meet you, get to know you, and celebrate your heritage and ancestry together. We will have a microphone available, and you are more than welcome to share your stories, memories, and experiences.

Even if you prefer to pay in person at the bar or at the venue, it is very important that all members complete the online registration form for our club records and database before 11 June if they would like to receive lunch.
