ADM Drama Presents Roald Dahl's "James and the Giant Peach"

This year's musical will be Roald Dahl's "James and the Giant Peach." Based on the classic children's novel, "James" tells the story of James, played by Sophomore Will Truitt, who loses his parents and ends up in the care of two "atrocious aunties," played by senior Elizabeth Dirksen and junior Laura Reiste. A magical mentor named "Ladahlord," played by junior William Beebe, appears in James' life resulting in a magical adventure featuring "tons of crazy creatures," adventures on the high seas, and (of course!) a giant peach. This family-friendly production is one you won't want to miss. Some of the highlights include a wide range of musical styles that our performers and pit musicians are enjoying. Costume, set, and prop design for the magical, fantasy world of the show are also delighting (and challenging!) our behind-the-scenes production teams.
