- **Event Description**: Last month we put a shout out for volunteers for our Christmas Day parkrun. We're happy to say we now have an almost full roster so will be going ahead!

We do have space for a couple more marshals and if last year is anything to go by, it will be a biggie. We smashed our attendance record by over 100 last year with 351 of you enjoying a festive frolic. Let us know if you're planning on coming along so we have some idea of how many to expect. If we could have a few volunteers as car park marshals, that would also be appreciated as last year we filled the car parks and blocked a couple of dog walkers in by mistake.

- Bring along yourself and any family that want to come along (don't forget to register them first, it's free), If they don't want to run, why not volunteer them to help out?

- Do bring mince pies, cake or other treats to share around. Cat Bum biscuits will be returning!

- Anyone that brings sprouts will have their time removed and will have to have the aforementioned sprouts removed from places that they should never be.

- Fancy dress is mandatory! 

Due to the numbers we're expecting, no one is getting a PB and there will be a queue up Achilles Hill on the first lap, so please no pushing, be respectful of all our runners and walkers (and other park users) and enjoy the Christmas spirit.
