The Emerging City Lab – Addis Ababa (ECL-AA) marks its 10-year anniversary this year. Over the past decade, ECL-AA has served as an innovative platform for research, education, and collaboration on urbanization and city-making in Ethiopia and beyond.
To commemorate this milestone, we invite you to an evening at the Goethe-Institut, featuring live music from the Emerging Music Lab and reflections on a decade of work.
The Emerging Music Laboratory is a unique collaboration that blends the rich sounds of Ethiopian traditions with Western influences, creating a new and captivating hybrid sound. With their innovative approach, they weave together melodies that cross cultures and borders, bringing warmth, energy, and joy to their audiences.
