- **Event Description**: The MDHT Highland Series HT consists of all three phases (dressage, show jumping & cross country) in an unrecognized/starter format. The horse trials have opening and closing dates, just like the USEF/USEA Recognized Horse Trials. However, the jumping portions are not timed and you are not required to be members of the USEA or USEF to enter.

We do abide by the USEA Eventing Rules for everything else, so please familiarize yourself with them. 

The MDHT Highland Series HT also includes a team challenge! Teams of 3 or 4 different horse and rider combinations compete for prizes and medals to be awarded following the Fall Championship competition.
