Saturday morning – April 11, 2026 – 8:00 AM Race Start!  

Enjoy this one-of-a-kind route that winds through and around lovely downtown Adairsville, GA, and Follows the Tracks where the actual Chase took place!!!  

The 5K start and finish are adjacent to the historic Downtown Adairsville Train Depot, where the Great Locomotive Chase passed through on April 12th, 1862!!  EXACTLY 164 Years ago on RACE DAY!

Register online until Monday, April 6th. You can register Friday, April 10th from 10:00AM - 4:00PM at City Hall (116 Public Square) or the morning of the race starting at 7:00AM.

Pre-Registration Packet Pick-Up: Friday, April 10th, from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM in the Adairsville City Hall.

Race Day Schedule of Events:
*7:00 AM Race Day Registration Opens
*7:45 AM Race Day Registration Closes
*8:00 AM 5K Start time
*9:15 AM Awards Ceremony 

AWARDS:
5K Overall: Awards will be given to the Top Three (3) Overall M&F finishers, as well as the Top Master M&F.
5K Age Groups: Awards will be given to the Top Three (3) male/female finishers in each of the following age groups: 10&Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70 & Over.
