Kick off your Valentine's Day with our foraging guides Katie & Luke during a special winter exploration into the world of wild foods!
From seeds and tea plants to digging beneath the snow for fresh greens, winter has a lot to share with us - if you know where to look.
During this class you'll take a hike in the woods and learn how to identify foragable foods of the season, along with what to use them for and how to prepare them, where to find them, how to store them, ethical foraging tips, contributing to our local environments by eating invasive species, and more.
As always, we'll also send you a follow-up email after class, listing all the wild foods we discussed and helpful resources, too!
We hope you'll join us for a fresh air morning outside, appreciating the beauty of February and exploring the secrets of the winter woods.
All ages are welcome. No experience in the outdoors is necessary.
Classes tend to fill early. Sign up soon if you'd like to join!
