- **Event Description**: We hope you all are ready for another adrenaline fueled night of NO PREP racing from Montana's only back side NO PREP event September 26th.  Get those missiles ready!!! 

All Classes

Rules are Subject to change Until 9/19/26
All Run, 1/8 mile, Arm drop/flashlight starts. Right lane stages first, FIVE arm pump in. Chip draw for lanes and run order. If eliminated you can run time only/Grudge. 
All classes are required at minimum to wear long sleeve shirt, long pants close toed shoes (no sandals). Fire proof jacket with aftermarket power adder is also required.
Any vehicle that has ballast added needs to be securely attached within the body structure of the vehicle.
Single elimination with buy back 1st round at 100% entry fee. Can run grudge if eliminated.
Oil Retention device is encouraged but not required.
Water Burnout Only and no Tire prepping. Anyone caught prepping tires will be disqualified from the event and exempt from competing in all future events at Yellowstone Drag Strip. 
AWD/4X4 allowed with the exception that they must run on a 200 Treadwear tire or greater. 
Rental Cars, Ev’s are Prohibited 

Daily Driver $50 Entry
Daily Driver is a racing class for beginners! This class is intended for actual daily drivers. If you think your in the grey area, you are in Modified street. These cars are street certified and able to drive over a 30-mile distance. All vehicles permitted. Any based engine, and any number and/or type of power adders are permitted. Vehicles must be registered, licensed, and insured. Door cars only.
During the tech-in process, vehicles must have operational street equipment, including headlights, taillights, brake lights, turn signals (hand signal is acceptable) and horn.
1. Valid driver’s license
2. Valid vehicle registration
3. Valid license plate(s). Dealer plates prohibited. Paper license tag will be accepted on a new model year car with current registration paperwork less than 60 days old from current event date.
4. Valid insurance “ID” card. Faxes and/or letters from insurance companies and/or brokers not acceptable.
5. Exhaust must exit behind rear axle. Cut-outs are not allowed to be used. 
6. In the spirt of the class no bead-lock style wheels are permitted in Daily Driver. D.O.T tires on front of vehicle. DOT legal tires are required for the daily driver competition and class run off. Racing slicks and non D.O.T. rated tires prohibited.
7. Hood may be made of lightweight material. Hood scoops permitted. Hood/scoop may be liftoff.
8. Performance aftermarket or OEM style Driver and Passenger seats required. Also, the best representation of interior required. 
9. Vehicle must be self-charging with no external battery charge assistance.
10. Stock style rear suspension required. No aftermarket 4-link or ladder bar cars. No Wheelie bars.
11. In the Spirit of the class, Roll Bars and Roll cages will bump competitor to Modified street. 

Modified Street $75 entry 
Modified Street is for novice and seasoned racers that have a full interior and are able to drive over a 30-mile distance. All vehicles permitted. Any based engine, and any number and/or type of power adders are permitted. Vehicles must be registered, licensed, and insured  Door cars only.
During the tech-in process, vehicles must have operational street equipment, including headlights, taillights, brake lights, turn signals (hand signal is acceptable) and horn.
1. Valid driver’s license
2. Valid vehicle registration
3. Valid license plate(s). Dealer plates prohibited. Paper license tag will be accepted on a new model year car with current registration paperwork less than 60 days old from current event date.

5. Exhaust must exit at or behind rear axle. Cut-outs are not allowed to be used. 
6. D.O.T. Radials or D.O.T. Slicks on rear of vehicle. D.O.T tires on front of vehicle. 
7. Hood may be made of lightweight material. Hood scoops permitted. Hood/scoop may be liftoff.
8. Performance aftermarket or OEM style Driver and Passenger seats required. Also, the best representation of interior required. 
9. Vehicle must be self-charging with no external battery charge assistance.
10. No push/tow vehicles to the starting line


True Street $100 Entry 
True street is a racing class is for heavily modified high performance street vehicles that are street certified and able to drive over a 30-mile distance. All vehicles permitted. Any based engine, and any number and/or type of power adders are permitted. Vehicles must be registered, licensed, and insured.. Door cars only.
During the tech-in process, vehicles must have operational street equipment, including headlights, taillights, brake lights, turn signals (hand signal is acceptable) and horn.
1. Valid driver’s license
2. Valid vehicle registration
3. Valid license plate(s). Dealer plates prohibited. Paper license tag will be accepted on a new model year car with current registration paperwork less than 60 days old from current event date.
4. Valid insurance “ID” card. Faxes and/or letters from insurance companies and/or brokers not acceptable.
5. Maximum actual measured tire size is as follows: Actual measured tread of all racing slick-type tire is limited to 28x10.5x15 NO W. For D.O.T. radial tires, maximum sidewall designation permitted is 275/60/15. Combined tread width on drive/powered axel tires, cannot exceed 21” of width.
6. Hood may be made of lightweight material. Hood scoops permitted. Hood/scoop may be liftoff.
7. Performance aftermarket or OEM style Driver and Passenger seats required. Also, the best representation of interior required. 
8. Vehicle must be self-charging with no external battery charge assistance.

Naturally Aspirated $100 entry 
Anything Goes as long as its naturally aspirated. 


Small Tire $150 Entry 
This class is for the competitor that want to get it done on mans sized tire. Tire size is the only limit. Door cars only. 
Maximum actual measured tire size is as follows: Actual measured tread of all racing slick-type tire is limited to 10.5-inches NO W. For D.O.T. radial tires, maximum sidewall designation permitted is 275mm. Combined tread width on drive/powered axel tires, cannot exceed 21” of width. 

Chunk Norris $100 Entry 
In honor of everyone’s fallen hero, we have created the Chunk Norris class. This class is for the Two Ton tanks!!! Must be 4000# or greater with driver.  You will be weighed before the event to make sure you qualify.  The last pair standing will be weighed before the last round of eliminations is ran.
