Beach and swim are free during the event and wristbands can be purchased for $15 for unlimited inflatable slides, slip n’ slide, games, bounce houses.Welcoming Ceremony 7:15-8:00 PM. Welcoming remarks by our Select Board, and local legislators, Town Management, Preface to the reading of the Declaration of Independence with Alisa Nicol and Michael Gowing reading the Declaration of Independence. Kiki Donahue will sing the National Anthem and God Bless America, Acton Minutemen Musket Volley, Acton 250th Committee, Acton Recreation Commission, and Acton Recreation Staff, Sponsor Appreciation.Live music: “The Boss Project” 8:00-9:00 PM will perform immediately after opening remarks. The Boss Project is the premier Bruce Springsteen and E Street tribute band.Intermission 9:00-9:20 PM: Presentation of the 2025 Recreation Volunteer of the Year Award, Kiki Donahue will sing God Bless America and have Acton Minutemen Musket Fire on her last singing note to kick off second set and laser light show.The second act of the concert will feature an amazing Laser Light Show starting at 9:30-10:30 that will be viewable from the NARA amphitheater.Welcome Ceremony | 7:15 p.m.The evening program begins with a welcoming ceremony featuring local government officials; a reading of the Declaration of Independence by Acton Resident and for Select Board member Mike Gowing; the Acton Minutemen will play their fife and drumms and conduct a musket volley; and Kiki Donahue will sing our National Anthiem and God Bless America.Live Concert | 8:00–10:30 PM (intermission from 9:00-9:20 PM)Enjoy a performance by The Boss Project – A Tribute to Bruce Springsteen, featuring two sets of classic hits.Laser Light Show (starts at approx. 9:30 PM)A spectacular laser light show will be integrated into the concert experience on the second set of The Boss Project once dusk falls, creating a memorable evening for all ages. Fireworks are not part of this year's celebration.Food VendorsA variety of food vendors will be onsite throughout the event offering refreshments and festival favorites from 4 PM until 10:15 PM.
