Karly Edwards, a 12-year-old girl from Louisville, MS, has battled serious health issues for years.
She has experienced multiple hospital stays, high fevers, full-body rashes, and severe joint pain.
In 2020 she was diagnosed with
SYSTEMIC JUVENILE IDIOPATHIC
ARTHRITIS
Despite several treatments and years of daily steroid use, Karly continued to decline. Early in 2024, genetic testing revealed she has a rare GATA2 gene mutation - a bone marrow disorder that prevents her body from properly fighting infections.
The only cure: A BONE MARROW TRANSPLANT
Karly began the long process of chemotherapy and specialist visits, and on July 30 she received her life-saving bone marrow transplant.
She now faces months of recovery, frequent appointments, and long-term follow-up care.
We will accept cash, Venmo & cashapp during registration. All money will go to Karly & her family! They still have so much ahead of them.
Let’s show up for Karly! She can not get out and celebrate her 13th birthday like a normal kiddo can! She is pretty much quarantined right now.
We will meet in Ackerman, register and then line up and travel by her house and show her love! Decorate your bikes, your cars, trucks, jeeps! All are welcome! She likes the color blue & purple!
You can leave after the drive by parade or you can continue to follow! I have someone working on a path now for us to keep traveling
