WARRIOR TOUR -- 10 DAYS/9 NIGHTS ** Accommodations: Based on Double Occupancy ** **Singles require an additional $400
*Tentative Itinerary -- (Founder's Day is celebrated at this time so the schedule may be altered based on activities during that time.)
DAY 1 - Arrive in Accra, Ghana - Kokota International Airport -- Free shuttle service to hotel. Get settled. No group activity. Will assist with Exchange USD to Ghanaian Cedis. Meet and Greet, Discuss Itinerary, Learn a few Ghanaian customs and phrases.
DAY 2 - City tour of Accra, Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum, Independence Square, WEB Dubois Center, Art Center, Madina Market/Makola Markets , Note: Be sure to bring a photo of any apparel you wish made. ** We will have a tailor come to take measurements at the hotel Lunch/Dinner - local restaurant or hotel.
DAY 3 - Finish Accra tour from previous day. Attend local events and festivities for Founder's Day, St. George's Heights for a barbecue, horseback riding, etc.
DAY 4 - Depart for Kumasi. Visit Assin Manso Slave River (last place slaves were allowed to bathe before the 3 weeks trek to the slave castles on our way to Kumasi. Lunch at Ike's Cafe on arrival. Visit Manhayia Palace Museum, Kejeita Market (largest market in West Africa) Check in hotel. Dinner at hotel or local establishment. Travel Time: 5 hrs.
DAY 5 --Make Adinkra Symbols, Visit Okomfo Anokye Sword Museum (this is where the story of King Arthur and the Sword was stolen, Authentic Kente Cloth Village for Naming Ceremony, Cocoa exhibit and local coffee bean farm tour. Visit Asanka Gold Store in Kumasi. **Please wear white for naming ceremony but since it is an all male tour they may have you shirtless for a special warrior ceremony.TBA
DAY 6 - Checkout of hotel and head to the Cape Coast. Slave River, Cape Castle and check in Elmina Resort. Travel Time: 2.30 hrs (Bring your luggage with you at this time.)
Day 7 - Kakum National Park, International Stingless Bee Center, Monkey Forest Resort Animal Sanctuary. Enjoy Resort and Beach fun Travel Time: 1 hr. (optional tour - takes about 45 min to walk up mountain to canopy bridges)
DAY 8 Check out of hotel. Head back to Accra. Drive tour through Old Jamestown. A day of fun at Labadi Beach . Try on made apparel. Ghana Nightlife (optional) Bags will remain at this location for remainder of tour.
Day 9 - Wli Waterfalls Travel Time: 5 hours. Once back in Accra. Relax. Pack. (optional tour or you can remain at hotel to relax) It takes about an hour to walk to the top of the mountain.
DAY - 10 Prepare for departure based on flight itinerary. Relax, enjoy a swim in the pool, etc. Late checkouts will be arranged based on flight schedule but at your expense. Please let us know if you would like to arrange a late checkout. *Most return flights to the US are late afternoon or at night.
Extended Stay for those attending Mole National Park Safari
** DAY 11 - Fly to Tamale. You can leave bags at hotel. Please take one bag or a carry on on the flight Mole Animal Safari, Visit Shea Butter Village and oldest Mosque in Ghana
Day - 12 Relaxation at resort and afternoon flight back to Accra.
Day - 13 Shuttle to airport for flights throughout the day. If possible please schedule flights by noon unless you would a late checkout. Guests will be responsible for late checkout fees.

**All arrival flights should be scheduled by or after 3 pm for an amenable check-in process. All departure flights MUST be ON August 8th. Handicap Accessibility: Ghana does not have government regulations in accordance to US standards. Many of the hotels, restaurants, and tourist attractions are not equipped for handicapped accessibility. This is not to discourage anyone but want to provide transparency. If you want to make this trip we will make it happen but there will be challenges based on locations. There are more than enough men in Ghana to assist even if they have to carry you. :)
