- **Event Description**: Search for native plants and discover their rich history in Scottish life and stories rooted in folkloreAbout this EventJoin Cairngorms National Park Ranger Amelie on a walk around Muir of Dinnet, searching for native plants as she describes their rich history in Scottish life and shares stories rooted in folklore.This will be a walk of about 5km on well made paths, but with some uneven surfaces and inclines so a genreal level of fitness is required, although we will be walking slowly and stopping regularly to look at plants. The walk will start and finish at the Burn O'Vat Visitor Centre.Please wear sturdy footwear and dress weather appropriately. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.The event may be cancelled in the case of adverse weather, but efforts will be made to contact all atteendees in advance.Any questions or concerns please feel free to contact Reserve Staff at Muir_Dinnet@nature.scot
