An Evening of Traditional Irish Music
Join us for an exceptional performance featuring Brian Conway, master of the Sligo fiddle style, and renowned guitarist Don Penzien.
Brian Conway - New York-born fiddler and All-Ireland champion (1973, 1974, 1986) who studied with legends Martin Wynne and Andy McGann. Renowned for his distinctive tone and authentic Sligo style, Brian is also one of Irish music's premier instructors.
Don Penzien - Master guitarist and accompanist who brings exceptional rhythm and harmony to traditional Irish music.
Info: 90 minute fiddle workshop hosted by Brian Conway, a premier instructor of traditional Irish music who has mentored many fine fiddle players, including several who have gone on to win All-Ireland championships. The workshop is open to all intermediate and advanced fiddle players. Cost of the workshop is $35/pp and does not include admission to the concert.
