Pam will be discussing her novel Last Twilight in Paris, with moderator Jay Tinkleman. Drawing from her experiences as a diplomat for the State Department and political appointee at The Pentagon, as well as being a Cambridge-trained historian and attorney, Ms. Jenoff has found immeasurable success as a NYT bestselling author of compelling and captivating historical fiction. The Washington Post calls Last Twilight in Paris "an intriguing mystery," and Booklist says it is "a breathtaking novel of love, loss, and inner fortitude." There will be a book signing after the event and an opportunity to take photos with Ms. Jenoff. Books will be available for purchase at the event from Capricorn Books.This event is a part of the Nancy J. Wright Memorial Author Series and is presented in partnership with the Friends of the Abington Township Public Library, Penn State Abington, and Capricorn Books.Event GuidelinesThis event is ticketed. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Please park in parking lot H. You can find an interactive map here.About the AuthorPam Jenoff was born in Maryland and raised outside Philadelphia. She attended George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and Cambridge University in England. Upon receiving her master’s in history from Cambridge, she accepted an appointment as Special Assistant to the Secretary of the Army. Following her work at the Pentagon, Pam moved to the State Department. In 1996 she was assigned to the U.S. Consulate in Krakow, Poland. It was during this period that Pam developed her expertise in Polish-Jewish relations and the Holocaust.Pam left the Foreign Service in 1998 to attend law school and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and she now teaches law school at Rutgers University.Pam is the NYT bestselling author of The Woman With The Blue Star, The Lost Girls of Paris, The Orphan’s Tale, The Kommandant’s Girl, The Diplomat’s Wife, The Ambassador’s Daughter, The Last Summer at Chelsea Beach, The Winter Guest, The Things We Cherished, Almost Home, A Hidden Affair, and Last Twilight in Paris. She also authored a short story in the anthology Grand Central: Original Postwar Stories of Love and Reunion. She lives outside Philadelphia with her husband, three children, dog, cat, lizard, and bird.About Nancy J. WrightNancy Jane Wright was a lifelong resident of Abington Township. She was a member of the Montgomery County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations and practiced law for over 37 years. Nancy was ebullient, generous, and intensely interested in others. She had a passion for horses and riding her entire life. She was a lifelong member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Jenkintown, PA and served in many roles and capacities there. She provided volunteer legal services to women through a domestic violence agency. Nancy loved to provide conversation and food to friends, neighbors, church members and others who needed support.Nancy served as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Abington Township Public Library. She was a fervent supporter of the library, its staff, and the community that it serves. She was deeply committed to the power of books and ideas, believing that libraries are not just repositories of knowledge, but essential spaces for dialogue, discovery, and community connection.Nancy passed away on March 3, 2025 at 64 years old.
