Please provide us with those if it's your first time playing at our store as well as your proof of purchase (in-store receipt or digital Eventbrite ticket) when you check-in at the judge station.-For deckbuilding, each player will receive a Gift Box that contains 8 boosters and 3 promo cards, and must use the cards within the Gift Box to build a deck while adhering to the following rules:Your deck must consist of exactly one leader, exactly one base, and a minimum 30-card draw deck.You can use any common base from any of the included booster sets for your deck, even one that did not come from one of the booster packs you opened. You can only use a rare base if it was in one of the booster packs you opened.Your draw deck can include any number of copies of the same card.You may change your leader, base, or draw deck using the other cards from your pool between rounds of the event.-After deckbuilding we will run a 3 round Swiss tournament, which will be played as 30 minute timed best-of-one game matches. Draws will be allowed and players may choose to intentionally draw (ID) their match. The end of match procedure will be as follows:Play will continue until the end of the next action phase. If neither player wins before then, compare the damage on both bases at that point. If the values are different, the player with less damage on their base is declared the winner of that game. If the values are the same, the player with the initiative is declared the winner of that game.-Each player will receive a tournament pack for participation. Additional prizes are awarded at the conclusion of the tournament at a rate of 2 boosters per match win and 1 booster per draw. Players may opt for store credit instead of taking boosters for prize.-We're also running a Seasonal Tournament Leaderboard which uses the results of each tournament to determine and award special prizes to the top finishing players at the end of each season.
