Shawn Harris is an award-winning author and illustrator of books for kids. One picture book he wrote and illustrated received a Caldecott Honor. A middle-grade novel he illustrated, written by Dave Eggers, was awarded the Newbery Medal. The National Museum of Wildlife Art gave one of his books, written by Mac Barnett, the Bull-Bransom Award, for excellence in the field of children’s book illustration with a focus on nature and wildlife. He and Mac also make a series of New York Times bestselling graphic novels about a cat in space.
