Handicrafts: Dreamcatchers (Main Library)

Did you know dreamcatchers originated with the Ojibwe? Mothers would hang them over infants for protection. The spider web like center would “catch” bad dreams while good dreams would float down the feathers to the child. Come out to a fun afternoon craft session where we’ll supply the materials for you to craft your own simple dreamcatcher. Then take your project home, hang it up, and hopefully only pleasant dreams will come your way. It’s a fun way to spend an afternoon for ages 15+.
