Anime fans, assemble! Grain Theory Brewery is thrilled to host Anime Night in The Blakeley, our private event space, for the very first time. Doors open at 5:30 PM, giving everyone a chance to settle in, grab a drink, and explore the night’s fun activities.
At 6:00 PM, we’ll be showing Spirited Away, the beloved Studio Ghibli classic following Chihiro, a young girl who stumbles into a magical spirit world after her parents are mysteriously transformed into pigs. Packed with stunning animation, memorable characters, and whimsical adventures, Spirited Away won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature and remains one of the highest-grossing anime films ever.
One of the highlights of the night is our cosplay contest at 7:00 PM during the movie intermission. Whether you want to add a small cosplay accessory or go all out with a fully crafted costume, everyone is encouraged to get creative and show off their anime-inspired style. The best-dressed participant will receive a special award!
We’re also excited to feature local artist Spencer Collins, the creative mind behind our event poster and a specialist in anime-style artwork. Spencer will have coloring sheets available, and you can enjoy our coffee and matcha specials in limited-edition cups featuring her artwork.
Board game enthusiasts, this is your night too! Bring your favorite board games or card games to play with friends, or pick from the many games already set up at the brewery. And for beer lovers, our Pour Your Own beer wall inside The Blakeley will be available at 20% off for attendees.
