We have some new wrestlers and we want to welcome parents and your wrestlers to Abilene Kids Wrestling Club! We are glad to have you be a part of our Wrestling Family! And for the ones returning, welcome back! We look forward to working with each and every one of you! AKWC is excited to begin this season of wrestling.
Just wanted to remind everyone that our 1st practice is Monday Nov.10th from 6-6:50p for beginners (Novice 1st or 2nd year) wrestlers and 7-8:15p for experienced wrestlers.
Practices will be held at the High School Practice Room (SE corner of HS).
Athletes can wear a t-shirt and shorts to practice (shirts need to be tucked in).
*PLEASE BRING A WATER BOTTLE WITH ATHLETES NAME ON IT!
**Also, make sure your child's fingernails are trimmed.
Please come a little early so you can help put wrestling shoes on your athlete, and be ready to start on time by 6p or 7p.
From then on, practices are held every Monday and Wednesday, same times, unless it is cancelled due to weather. You will be notified if there are any changes.
The Club does allow 2 practices for the ones that are undecided.
By their 3rd practice all participants MUST be registered in our SportsEngine program. If you need to register, please do so here:

Parking & Drop Off:
Please use the South side parking lot (by tennis courts) and drop off at the southeast entrance (up the hill).
**Please, Please, Please be careful when dropping off and/or picking up your wrestler. Everyone needs to use the sidewalk, this is on a 1 way street that will be used often!
