The Book Garden & Eco Hub Aber Present
'Wild Things' Nature Book Club 🌿
Calling all Nature-Lovers, Readers & Wild Things!
We cordially invite you to join us for the second meeting of 'Wild Things' Nature Book Club, a monthly gathering for bookish nature-lovers.
We’ll be exploring a different nature-inspired book every month, from novels and poetry to sci-fi, nature writing, and folklore.
We will chat about each month's read at Mashed Community Brewhouse, famous for their locally foraged hedgerow wine. (Non-alcoholic options available too!)
There will also be opportunities to get involved in local nature initiatives through Eco Hub Aber, bringing ideas to life! 🌿
This Month’s Book: The Man Who Planted Trees by Jean Giono
The story follows a French farmer who spends his life planting acorns for a forest he will never see and the WW1 writer who tells his story.
'I love the humanity of this story and how one man's efforts can change the future for so many.'
-Michael Morpurgo
Next Meeting Date: Wed December 10th 7-9pm @ Mashed Community Brewhouse.
