Learn how to artfully and sustainably repair textiles by patching and darning holes and thinning fabric. Rather than focusing on a perfect, invisible repair, visible mending is a way of creatively and mindfully repairing garments that makes a feature of the repair.
Please bring your own clothes to mend, otherwise there will be samples available. Please note that for a beginner, these mending methods are not suited to seam repairs.
Offered on a ‘pay-as-you-feel’ basis. Refreshments provided.
Eco Hub Aber is accessible via one small step into the building. If necessary we are able to provide a temporary ramp. The rest of the space is all on one level.
