Heriau Morwrol Anghonfensiynol/ Unconventional Maritime Challenges

Info: Bydd y gynhadledd yn trafod heriau anghonfensiynol sy’n amrywio o’r newid yn yr hinsawdd, ffoaduriaid, ac argyfyngau iechyd byd-eang i danseilio tanddwr, a chydweithredu ar arfau niwclear. Bydd y trafodaethau yn canolbwyntio ar natur yr heriau hyn, eu goblygiadau i luoedd llyngesol, a’r rôl gadarnhaol y gallant ei chwarae wrth ymateb i’r heriau hynny.


As part of the International Sea Power Conference (ISPC) 2025, Aberystwyth University hosts this ISPC 2025 side event “Unconventional Maritime Challenges”, held in partnership with the Council on Geostrategy.

The conference will explore unconventional challenges ranging from climate change, refugees, and global health emergencies to undersea sabotage, and nuclear weapons cooperation, with a focus on the nature of these challenges, their implications for naval forces, and what positive roles they may play in responding to such challenges.
