Saturday 27th June we return to the incredible Gwrych Castle for our biggest Castle Carnival yet — and this one marks another huge step forward for what we’re building together.

What started as underground sound system sessions inside the castle walls is gradually growing into something much bigger. Every event has helped us push things forward, and with your support we’re now expanding into more areas of the castle grounds, introducing TWO stages for the first time, bigger sound systems, more artists, more genres, and a full day-to-night experience.

This time we take over both The Coach House and The Theatre with reggae, dubstep, jungle, DnB, UK garage, roots, dub and world music powered by heavyweight sound systems including Union Soundsystem and Stone Roots Sound — plus Jamaican food from Cegin Caribi bringing the flavours all day long.

Castle Carnival has always been more than just a party. These events directly support the ongoing restoration and revival of Gwrych Castle and help bring life back into one of the most unique venues in the UK. The castle is still being restored by the preservation trust, and we’re proud that the community forming around these events is becoming part of that story.

The vision keeps growing every event. More stages. More areas of the grounds. Better production. Better experiences. And we’re already pushing towards future events with camping, full weekend experiences, and transforming Castle Carnival into something truly special for North Wales music culture.

Massive thanks to everyone who’s supported us so far — every ticket bought, every share, every person who’s turned up and brought energy to the dance has helped make this possible.
