Vital Spark perform lively Christmas music in a West Gallery!

Vital Spark will sing and play examples of the lively type of music that was popular in country churches from the late 1600s until around 1840. We are delighted to return once again to Clodock and to use the wonderful West Gallery that was built in about 1680 to accommodate the local quire and musicians. We also sing pieces that “travelled" to the US with the immigrants and are still sung there today. The singing is accompanied by a band of fiddles, concertinas, clarinet, recorders, flute and bassoon.
There will be a retiring collection in aid of a charity that builds schools in Africa and also for the upkeep of St Clydawg's church.
