From here, the path leads us out toward the coast as the views slowly widen, the sea breeze picks up, and the drama of the northern cliffs unfolds in front of us.Soon we’re looking down over the rugged coastline towards Holyhead Breakwater Country Park, an atmospheric landscape shaped by quarrying and sea weather. The trail climbs gradually toward Holyhead Mountain, the highest point on Anglesey, offering sweeping views across the island and out toward the Irish Sea.From its summit, the descent brings us to the iconic silhouette of South Stack Lighthouse, perched on its rocky island and reached by the famous flight of steps. It’s one of Anglesey’s most spectacular viewpoints - a real highlight of the day. From here, the coastline softens as we begin the long, beautiful journey toward Rhoscolyn. The path winds past coves, sea cliffs, ancient workings like the old gunpowder store, and finally down to the golden sands of Trearddur Bay before the final stretch toward the emerald waters of Rhoscolyn itself.A taxi returns us to the cars at the end, and the evening is yours. The group has the option to head out for dinner at The Oystercatcher in Rhosneigr (not included) - the perfect end to a big, unforgettable coastal day.Day 3 – Rhoscolyn to Aberffraw - Distance: 30 km | Ascent/Descent: 130m / 120mWe start the day with a taxi back to Rhoscolyn, where the coastline already feels wild, windswept, and full of character. From here, we begin the journey south - a gorgeous, rolling stretch of the Anglesey Coastal Path that feels remote, peaceful, and endlessly scenic. As the cliffs soften and the headlands open out, the sea turns that unmistakable Anglesey turquoise as we approach Traeth Llydan - a long, golden sweep of beach backed by dunes and dotted with rocky outcrops. It’s the kind of beach that invites you to slow down, breathe in the sea air, and maybe even dip your toes in the water. The trail continues along gentle coastal curves until we reach one of the most fascinating sites on the entire island: Barclodiad y Gawres, a Neolithic burial chamber perched above Porth Trecastell (Cable Bay). The carved stones, wind-sculpted landscape, and Atlantic views combine to create one of those rare places that feels both ancient and deeply atmospheric. We carry on toward Porth Trecastell, a beautiful sheltered bay with clean water, soft sand, and cliffs wrapping around it like a natural amphitheatre. It’s a favourite for swimmers and surfers - and a gorgeous place to pause and soak in the moment. From here, it’s the final stretch back into Aberffraw, following a mix of dunes, estuary views, and open coastal paths, eventually leading straight back to our base at Llywelyn Fawr.Back home, you’ll be met with the comforting smell of dinner - a home-cooked lasagne night (included). After a long and beautiful coastal day, the hot tub and a cosy fire will be waiting for anyone who wants to unwind in the best possible way.Day 4 – Aberffraw to Dwyran - Distance: 22 km | Ascent/Descent: 110m / 110mWe leave Aberffraw on foot, following a gentle coastal path that soon opens out into wide views, big skies, and that peaceful sense of space Anglesey does so well. The first part of the walk feels soft and expansive - dunes, estuary views, rolling sand, and the sound of the sea somewhere just out of sight. As the route begins to curve north, the landscape rises subtly into the edge of the Newborough National Nature Reserve and Forest. One moment you're walking through open coastal scenery, and the next you’re stepping beneath tall pines and sandy woodland trails. It’s a totally different world - calm, sheltered, and filled with birdsong.Soon the trees part and we arrive at the vast golden sweep of Llanddwyn Beach, one of the most breathtaking stretches of sand in Wales. The views across Caernarfon Bay are incredible, with the peaks of Snowdonia rising sharply in the distance. It’s the kind of place you could stay for hours - watching the light change, the tide shift, and the mountains drifting in and out of view.We continue along the shoreline and through pockets of wild dunes before picking up the trail toward Dwyran, where the taxi will meet us for the short journey back to our base. After a gorgeous final walking day, the evening is yours. Join the optional meal out at Pen Lon/Y Marram (not included), or head back to Llywelyn Fawr for one last hot tub under the stars or a cosy firelit evening.Day 5 – Dwyran to Beaumaris & Depart - Distance: 29 km | Ascent/Descent: 280m / 280mOur final morning begins in Dwyran, where we set off on a beautifully varied route that weaves together quiet countryside, ancient history, and some of the most impressive views of the entire trip. The first highlight comes as we approach St Edwen's Church - a peaceful, centuries-old church founded in the 7th century. Tucked away above the tides and surrounded by farmland, it’s a wonderfully atmospheric spot to pause before continuing east. The landscape then opens toward one of Anglesey’s most famous prehistoric landmarks: Bryn Celli Ddu. Known as the “Mound in the Dark,” this Neolithic burial chamber is extraordinary - not just to look at, but to step inside. The carved stones, the hush of the passageway, and the sheer age of the site make it a truly memorable stop. From here, the trail winds through rolling fields and quiet lanes before gradually revealing the dramatic Menai Strait. Soon, the incredible engineering of the Menai Suspension Bridge comes into view — Thomas Telford’s masterpiece stretching gracefully between island and mainland. Walking beneath or alongside it offers unbeatable views across the water and towards the mountains of Eryri. The final stretch takes us gently into Beaumaris, a lively coastal town filled with character, colourful buildings, and an inviting waterfront. It’s the perfect place to end our journey - four full days of sea air, cliffs, beaches, and ancient stories behind us.A taxi will return drivers to Dwyran for vehicles, and we depart from Beaumaris after the walk - no evening meal needed.WHAT'S INCLUDED- 4 nights in exclusive-use Llywelyn Fawr- Full breakfasts + make-your-own packed lunches- 4 guided walking days led by Janire- All taxi transfers for point-to-point hiking days- Optional moonlit dip on arrival night- Two home-cooked dinners (pizza night + lasagne night)- Two evenings eating out (optional; not included)- Access to hot tub + cosy fireside evenings- Supportive, friendly group atmosphere- Pre-trip WhatsApp group- Free parkingWHAT TO BRING- Walking boots- Day pack- Warm layers + waterproofs- Water bottle- Swimwear & towel (moonlit dip + beach stops + hot tub!)- Personal toiletries & Medic*tion- Comfy clothes for fire/hot tub evenings- Snacks + favourite drinks- A love for coastal scenery and fresh sea airIMPORTANT BITS TO NOTE:To book and secure your place you'll need to pay a £125 deposit (full balance is due 6 weeks before the start date). All travellers must complete a booking form, and confirm you have read and understood the booking conditions.Payment plans are available upon request at no additional cost.

"description": "Our ambition is to create Wellness Holidays that offer value for money, excellent service and great experiences in beautiful locations.Throughout the year we offer itineraries in various locations that individuals can book on to.We create Group Wellness Holidays using hotels, B&Bs and occasionally retreat style accommodation for exclusive use. We hire local instructors / guides to provide an itinerary of wellness activities throughout your stay. These are not \"hosted\" holidays as you might expect on a group retreat, and we typically offer 1 or 2 classes per day, in the morning and/or evening so during the day you usually have free time to do your own thing. We give you suggestions for your free time, and where possible we can offer optional add ons. We always provide details of self guided walks in the area.Wellness activities take place either at your accommodation (if there is a suitable space), or in community centres / halls within reasonable walking distance of your accommodation.Activities vary by holiday, but could include:YogaPilatesQigongTai ChiSound/Gong bathWild swimmingGuided meditationGuided walkForagingReikiZumbaHIIT (High-intensity interval training)PaddleboardingPrivate GroupsIf you are looking for something a little different to the published holidays, we can tailor an itinerary to your groups needs, within your specified dates and duration.Or if you wish to book a published holiday for a private group we can close off the date for you, as long as there is nobody else booked on. A special group rate can be discussed.LocationWe use locations where there is a variety of walks in the area, a good standard of accommodation that is comfortable, and either has an indoor space for classes on site, or is within walking distance of one.AccommodationWe visit every accommodation featured to ensure service levels and comfort are of a high standard. Some holidays are based in B&B’s / small hotels, some are in larger houses (that sleep up to approx. 14 people) for exclusive use, and some may be in bunkhouse / glamping style accommodation. We want to offer something for everyone.MealsThe meals included depend on the location and type of holiday. If using a town where there is ample choice of restaurants, we tend to include breakfast but leave lunch and dinner to you. If rural, with little or no choice of restaurants nearby, we include all meals, but where possible we give you the option to self cater if you want to.Group SizesGroup sizes vary depending on the accommodation. Where possible we will run with 4 people, and we generally limit groups to 14 people. Average group size is likely to be 8 people. Each holiday has to reach a certain number before we can guarantee it will run. This number varies depending on the holiday and accommodation used. In some places we are able to create an affordable wellness holiday with a minimum group size of 4-6.If you book a holiday and we are unable to run it, you will be offered an alternative holiday, or a full refund within 7 days of cancellation. Read more about our booking terms and conditions here.Numbers are monitored, and at 6 weeks out, we will give you an indication of group size, so you know if your holiday is likely to run or not. At a minimum of 4 weeks out, we will let you know if it is guaranteed to run, or if we have to cancel."
